Senator Barbara Mikulski Secures $390 Million In FY16 Bill For FBI Headquarters in Maryland (VIDEO)

Senator Barbara Mikulski, Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee and Subcommittee on Commerce Justice, and Science, announced that she successfully included $390 million in the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2016. The funding will be used to begin the construction of a new consolidated headquarters for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).

In the video below, Senator Mikulski talks about the securing the funding and is joined by  Senator Ben Cardin, Representative Steny Hoyer, Representative Donna Edwards and Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker.
