Bluegrass band ‘The Seldom Scene’ will perform at Black Rock Center for the Arts on Saturday, January 26 at 8 p.m.
This legendary quintet challenges the boundaries of bluegrass while they charm audiences with their low-key, witty patter.
Playing together for four decades and earning a national reputation, ‘The Scene’ set a new standard that has greatly expanded the bluegrass audience.
The Montgomery County-based group is Ben Eldridge on banjo, Dudley Connell on guitar/vocals, Fred Travers on dobro, Ronnie Simpkins on bass and Lou Reid on mandolin/vocals.
