  • Steve Friedman returns with The Golden Age of the Broadway Musical Pt. 1, 1950-1960 on Monday, March 24 at 1 p.m. By the 1950’s, no story was unable to be told through music, and with the evolution of broadcasted television, Broadway entered its Golden Age. Live song is included in the discussion.
  • Señorita Sunshine will be coming in to entertain us on Monday, March 31 at 1 p.m. She will entertain with song, dance, and laughter as she performs her original comic songs and her unique brand of stand-up comedy!

This month’s discussion will focus on The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. In January 1946, writer Juliet Ashton receives a letter from a stranger, a founding member of the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, and so begins a remarkable tale of the Island of Guernsey during the German Occupation, and of a society as extraordinary as its name.     This website is not up to date it is now August 14. I was told at Holiday Park to go to website for info on Schweinhaut Senior Center and stuff here is out not current-OLD. Help!
