School Superintendent: MCPS Prepping for Potential Return to In-Person Learning

Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jack Smith held a virtual media briefing on Monday to discuss plans for students’ phased return to in-person learning starting in January of 2021.

MCPS officials say they will only move forward with plans if key health metrics are met. A virtual option will be available for families who choose not to return to in-person instruction.

MyMCMedia covered the virtual media briefing.

MCPS Board of Education will vote on the return to in-person learning on December 3.
