School Safety Training Session Takes Place Today and Tomorrow at Fairland Elementary Holding School in Silver Spring
The Maryland Center for School Safety and the ALICE Training Institute are holding a two-day Active Shooter Training session today and tomorrow at Fairland Elementary Holding School in Silver Spring, according to a news release.
The training takes place all day, and it is designed for Maryland local public and private school system security/safety directors, school resource officers and other law enforcement officers such as academy and specialized tactical unit staff.
In addition, school risk managers, school administrators, and school psychologists are attending the training to observe the impact of active shooter response to students and staff.
