UPDATE: Several Injuries Reported After School Bus and Dump Truck Collide in Aspen Hill Area
Update, 11 a.m.: At least nine people, including eight students and one adult, were transported to a local hospital following a crash that involved a school bus and a truck Monday morning in the Aspen Hill area, according to the police. The bus was taking students to Farquhar Middle School in Olney. The injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, police say.
Norbeck Road has reopened to traffic.

Montgomery County Police are investigating a crash that involved a school bus and a truck Monday morning in Aspen Hill.
The collision occured at 7:54 a.m. between a school bus headed to a middle school and a trash truck in the 2400 block of Norbeck Road. The police are reporting that the bus driver and four students were transported to a local hospital.
The police are reporting that no injuries were life-threatening.
Norbeck Road (MD 28) is closed in both directions at Layhill Road (MD 182) at this time.
