School Bus Incident on Georgia Avenue and Sligo Avenue
UPDATED Montgomery County fire and rescue crews were called to the scene of a traffic incident involving a school bus at Georgia Avenue and Sligo Avenue in Silver Spring shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer said there were 50 passengers on the bus and no serious injuries have been reported. He said some of the students on board were “jostled” when the bus suddenly stopped.
There were traffic delays in this area during rush hour.
