Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream Opening Second Location in Bethesda

Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream will open at a second location in Bethesda.

The locally-sourced ice cream shop is planned to open in the Wildwood Shopping Center between Le Pain Quotidien and Wildwood Family Cleaners late this summer, according to a statement emailed to MyMCMedia. The first location is on River Road in Bethesda. 

To abide by COVID-19 safety measures, customers will be allowed three feet into the store and sneeze guards will be in place. Contactless pickup and delivery will also be an option. 

“Our handmade ice cream brings people together and we want our shops to be community gathering places,” said the shop’s founder, Sarah Park, in the statement. “We have loved the community we built on River Road in Bethesda, and we are excited to expand to Wildwood.”
