Over a thousand residents filled the Wheaton Triangle to celebrate the 4th annual Salvadoran American Day festival. Festival goers enjoyed authentic food from local restaurants, music and a free healthcare provided by Kaiser Permanente and Mary’s Center.

Salvadoran Festival with health fair

Executive Ike Leggett and the Salvadoran Community announced the first annual Salvadoran Festival and Health Fair to take place Sunday, August 5 on the Wheaton Triangle. Montgomery County is home to approximately 56,000 Salvadorans. The Health Fair will include 20 screening tests and a dental bus for children.
