Over a thousand residents filled the Wheaton Triangle to celebrate the 4th annual Salvadoran American Day festival. Festival goers enjoyed authentic food from local restaurants, music and a free healthcare provided by Kaiser Permanente and Mary’s Center.

The Salvadoran Independence Day Festival was held recently in Montgomery County on September 9th. County Executive Isiah Leggett and Maryland Lt. Governor Anthony Brown attended the festival held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Watch this report for more. Executive Ike Leggett and the Salvadoran Community announced the first annual Salvadoran Festival and Health Fair to take place Sunday, August 5 on the Wheaton Triangle. Montgomery County is home to approximately 56,000 Salvadorans. The Health Fair will include 20 screening tests and a dental bus for children.
