Rockville’s New Police Chief to be Sworn in June 18
Rockville City Police Department has a new chief, Victor Brito, who will be sworn in Monday, June 18 at 6 p.m. The ceremony takes place in the Mayor and Council Chambers at Rockville City Hall, 111 Maryland Avenue.
Members of the community are invited to both the swearing-in ceremony and the following reception. The Mayor and Council meeting begins at 7 p.m.
City Manager Rob DiSpirito named Victor Brito as Rockville’ next police chief May 22. He comes to Rockville after serving as Hagerstown’s police chief, following 25 years with the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C.
Don't forget to swing by City Hall and say hi to new RCPD Chief Victor Brito after his swearing in tomorrow. He'll take the oath at 6 pm with a little meet-and-greet to follow.
