Rockville Swim Center Upgrades Complete
The city of Rockville completed upgrades to the Swim and Fitness Center this month. The work included additional space and renovations to the lobby and two locker rooms.
Planning for the project started in 2016 and construction began early last year in 2019. The center – located at 355 Martins Lane – was expanded by about 7,000 square feet. Both locker rooms were enlarged and now include approximately 300 lockers, 18 shower spaces, modern amenities, and improved ADA accessibility.
