Rockville Police Say Woman Arrested for Using Forged Prescription

On Feb. 4 between 4:45 p.m. and 4:48 p.m., a 52-year-old woman was arrested for attempting to obtain CDS via a forged prescription, attempting to obtain CDS via impersonation, and attempting to obtain CDS via forged prescription with the intent to misrepresent, after an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Hungerford Drive.

Other Arrests

On Jan. 30 between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., a 38-year-old man was arrested for malicious destruction of property, theft, disorderly conduct, and trespassing, after an incident that occurred in the 1700 block of Rockville Pike.

On Feb. 1 between 2:28 p.m. and 3 p.m., a 53-year-old man was arrested for theft, two counts of obstructing and hindering a police investigation, failure to identify oneself, and trespassing, after an incident that occurred in the 1600 block of Rockville Pike.

On Feb. 3 between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m., a 55-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and telephone misuse, following several incidents that occurred from a residence in the 400 block of Crabb Avenue.

Incidents

In the 1100 block of Rockville Pike, an unknown person gained entry by forcing a rear door open at a vacant building between 10:23 a.m. Jan. 18 and 11:36 p.m. Feb. 1. Nothing was taken.

In the 200 block of Rockville Pike, a complainant reported that he had met an acquaintance at 5 p.m. Jan. 19 to sell him his laptop. The complainant handed the acquaintance the laptop. The acquaintance said he needed to go to an ATM to retrieve cash, so he could pay the complainant. The victim waited nearby for the acquaintance to return, but he didn’t. This incident was not reported to the police until Feb. 2.

In the unit block of Maryland Avenue, the complainant reported that someone removed a GPS and an EZ Pass from a vehicle, between 12 p.m. Jan. 1 and 12 p.m. Jan. 31.

In the 100 block of Monument Street, the complainant reported that someone removed a GPS from an unlocked vehicle, between 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26 and 10 a.m. Jan. 31.

In the unit block of Welwyn Way, the complainant reported that someone stole an unsecured vehicle from a driveway, between 10 p.m. Jan. 30 and 8:30 a.m. Jan. 31.

In the unit block of Choke Cherry Road, the complainant reported that someone removed a snowplow blade, a snowplow tower control, a snowplow front, ear buds, and a plug cap from a vehicle between 6 p.m. Feb. 1 and 7 a.m. Feb. 3.
