Rockville Police Say Woman, 44, Assaulted Officer

A 44-year-old woman was arrested between 4:02 a.m. and 4:13 a.m. Feb. 20 for second-degree assault on a police officer, trespassing, and disorderly conduct, after an incident in the 200 block of West Montgomery Avenue.

Other arrests

On Feb. 11, a request was submitted to the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigation Division for three 15-year-old boys, to be charged with malicious destruction of property and trespassing, after an incident in the 12700 block of Twinbrook Parkway.

On Feb. 14 between 5:59 p.m. and 6:05 p.m., a 46-year-old man, was arrested for second-degree assault and disorderly conduct, after an incident in the 200 block of Rockville Pike.

On Feb. 17 between 2:12 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested for failing to obey a lawful order and obstructing and hindering a police investigation, after an incident near the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Twinbrook Parkway.

On Feb. 17 between 10:42 a.m. and 11:39 a.m., a 33-year-old man was arrested for trespassing, after an incident in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.

On Feb. 18 at 10:20 p.m., a 46-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct, after an incident in the 100 block of East Montgomery Avenue.

Incidents

700 block of Shetland Street, the complainant reported that someone removed a generator and a bicycle from a back yard between Oct. 30 and Dec. 15. This incident was not reported to the police until Feb. 19.

1000 block of Brice Road, the complainant reported that someone removed a package containing a video game pad from a front porch on Feb. 8 between 6:40 p.m. and 8 p.m. This incident was not reported to the police until Feb. 17.

Unit block of Mannakee Street, the complainant reported that someone removed a cell phone with case from a backpack on Feb. 10 between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.

900 block of White Pine Lane, someone gained entry through an unlocked rear door between noon Feb. and noon Feb. 19. Once inside the person removed two bottles of liquor.

200 block of Richard Montgomery Drive, the complainant reported that someone wrote anti-Semitic graffiti in a classroom, between 4:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 14.

Unit block of Mannakee Street, the complainant reported that someone removed an unattended laptop, textbook and a laptop bag from a classroom, between 8:25 p.m. and 8:35 p.m. Feb. 14.

Unit block of Eton Overlook, the complainant reported that someone removed a purse containing cash, credit cards, and a driver’s license from a vehicle between 7 p.m. Feb. 13 and 8 a.m. Feb. 14.

100 block of King Farm Boulevard, someone tried to gain entry by prying a front door to an apartment between 8 a.m. Feb. 16 and 3 p.m. Feb. 17. No entry was made.

Fleet Street and Richard Montgomery Drive, the complainant reported that someone removed a backpack containing three books, head phones, and a calculator from a vehicle between 2:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. Feb. 17.

1600 block of Rockville Pike, the complainant reported that someone entered the business between 2:07 p.m. and 2:11 p.m. Feb. 18. The thief grabbed several clothing items and fled out the door without paying. The suspect is described as: 180 pounds, medium build, brown eyes, black hair, goatee, black skin tone, last seen wearing red cap, black T-shirt and black jacket.

1700 block of Rockville Pike, the complainant reported that someone entered the business between 7:35 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. Feb. 18. The thief went to the apparel section and grabbed three items of clothing. The suspect then exited the store without paying. The suspect is described as: 5 feet, 9 inches, 150 pounds, thin build, brown eyes, short black hair, beard, medium skin tone, last seen wearing blue jeans, black jacket and white backpack.

2200 block of Veirs Mill Road, the complainants reported that they were at a restaurant consuming alcohol between 8:44 p.m. and 9 p.m. Feb. 18. As they were leaving, someone followed them out. Once outside, one person assaulted one of the complainants. Two other people exited a vehicle, and a person assaulted the other complainant. A third person went to his vehicle and grabbed a machete, who threatened to kill the complainants. All three entered the vehicle and fled the area. The first individual is described as 18 or 19 years old, 6 feet, medium build, long black hair, last seen wearing blue top, and shorts. No descriptions on the other two.
