Rockville Police Report Two Heroin-Related Arrests in Latest Crime Summary

Rockville city police had two heroin-related arrests, according to the latest city police crime summary.

The first was between 12:43 p.m. and 3 p.m. June 19 in the 200 block of West Gude Drive. A 23-year-old woman was arrested for two counts of second-degree assault on a police officer, obstructing and hindering a police investigation, resisting arrest, and possession of CDS-heroin, the summary said.

The second was at 10:14 p.m. June 20 in the unit block of Waddington Lane. A 22-year-old man was arrested for possession of CDS-heroin and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Other arrests

On June 20 between 9:03 p.m. and 10 p.m., a 35-year-old woman was arrested for theft, second-degree assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct after an incident in 300 block of Hungerford Drive.

On June 21 at 12:45 a.m., a 25-year-old man was arrested for trespassing after an incident in the unit block of Maryland Avenue.

On June 21 between 2:20 a.m. and 4 a.m., an 18-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing and hindering a police investigation and failure to identify oneself to a police officer after an incident in the 100 block of Fallsgrove Boulevard.

On June 21 between 8:50 p.m. and 9:03 p.m., a 20-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault, trespassing, malicious destruction of property, and theft, after an incident in the 13200 block of Atlantic Avenue.

Incidents

900 block of Veirs Mill Road, the complainant reported that she was sexually assaulted by someone she knew between 11 p.m. April 2 and 6 a.m. April 3. The incident was reported to police on June 19.

700 block of Thompson Dairy Way, the complainant reported that someone removed a rocking chair from a front porch between 5 p.m. June 4 and 9 a.m. June 10. The incident was reported to police on June 23.

700 block of Monroe Street, the complainants reported that someone removed catalytic converters from three vehicles on June 13 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

700 block of Rockville Pike, someone gained entry by forcing a side door open at a business between 8:40 p.m. June 17 and 12 p.m. June 18. Once inside the person forced open a safe and removed cash.

600 block of Blossom Drive, the complainants reported that someone removed a knife, cash and an iPod from two unlocked vehicles between p p.m. June 18 and 6:30 a.m. June 19.

200 block of North Washington Street, the complainant reported that a woman entered the business on June 19 between 8:49 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Due to previous interactions with the person, the complainant asked her to leave the business. The suspect became irate and began to act disorderly. The woman picked up a pair of scissors and pointed them at the complainant. The complainant informed the woman that he was calling police. The woman then left the business. The woman is described as: 5 feet 6 inches tall, thin build, black hair, brown eyes, floral pants and light colored shirt.

100 block of Monroe Street, the complainant reported that someone removed a GPS and spare change from a vehicle between 2 p.m. June 19 and 1:15 p.m. June 20.

600 block of Jefferson Plaza, the complainant reported that someone removed an unattended laptop from a conference room on June 20 between 1:45 p.m. and 2:12 p.m. The suspect is described as having a bald/shaven head, dark brown skin tone, last seen wearing black/white tie, light blue dress shirt and dark blue suit.

600 block of Nelson Street, someone gained entry by forcing a side door open to a home between 4 p.m. June 21 and 4:22 p.m. June 22. Once inside the person removed jewelry.

800 block of Rockville Pike, the complainant reported that someone removed an unsecured boat engine that had been left unattended outside in front of a garage door on June 21 between 4:48 a.m. and 4:55 a.m.

400 block of Silver Rock Road, the complainant reported that someone removed an iPad from an unsecured vehicle between 9 p.m. June 21 and 9 a.m. June 22.

700 block of Hungerford Drive, the complainant reported that a woman removed an unattended purse containing a wallet, cash, identification cards and a set of keys from a business on June 23 between 3:44 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. A review of the surveillance video describes the woman as 5 feet tall, 160 pounds, medium build, medium length hair, fair skin tone, last seen wearing light or white colored blouse and glasses.

700 block of 1st Street, someone gained entry by breaking a front glass door to a business between 10:15 p.m. June 23 and 10:30 a.m. June 24. Once inside, the person forced open a cash register and removed the drawer containing cash.

Unit block of Maryland Avenue, the complainant reported that while she was sitting outside with her headphones on, someone removed her book bag containing a wallet, identification cards, a credit card, a speaker, clothing, a cell phone charger and cash.

800 block of Rockville Pike, someone gained entry by breaking a side window to a business between 10:20 p.m. June 24 and 9 a.m. June 25. Once inside, the person removed cash from a cash register.
