Rockville Police Report Arrests and Other Incidents

Arrests

A 29-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault, after an incident that occurred between 6:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the 600 block of Ivy League Lane.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested for aggressive panhandling, failure to identify herself to a police officer, and obstructing and hindering a police investigation, after an incident that occurred between 12:07 p.m. and 1 p.m. March 1 in the unit block of Maryland Avenue.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for theft and conspiracy to commit theft after an incident that occurred Feb. 7 in the 400 block of Redland Boulevard.

A 36-year-old man was arrested for theft and trespassing after an incident that occurred at 11:43 a.m. March 2 in the 400 block of Redland Boulevard.

A 58-year-old man was arrested at 2:04 p.m. March 02 for violating an ex parte/protection order after an incident in the 600 block of Rollins Avenue.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at 2:47 a.m. March 4 for making a false statement to a police officer and fraud-personal identity to avoid prosecution, after an incident that occurred in the 1600 block of East Jefferson Street.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested at 9:01 p.m. March 4 for malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct after an incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Rockville Pike.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for malicious destruction of property and trespassing, after an incident that occurred between 11:16 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. March 5 in the 300 block of Martins Lane.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree assault after an incident that occurred between 10:44 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. March 5 in the 1800 block of Henry Road.

Incidents

500 block of Maryland Avenue, the complainant reported that someone spray-painted anti-Semitic graffiti at a park on Feb. 27 at 2:15 p.m.

200 block of North Washington Street, the complainant reported that someone removed an unattended gym bag containing four computer SD cards, a flash drive and a jacket, between 4:34 p.m. and 5 p.m. March 1.

600 block of Denham Road, the complainants reported that a known subject entered the home, uninvited at 2:22 p.m. March 2. The suspect removed U.S. currency, a wallet, a medication from a table. The suspect then produced a knife with a brass knuckles type handle, when the complainants confronted him. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle being driving by an unknown female. The suspect is described as about 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 200 pounds, short black hair, and has tattoos on forearms.

100 block of Wootton Oaks Court, the complainant reported that three people removed a vehicle from a driveway between 1:20 a.m. and 1:27 a.m. March 5. One individual was described as wearing a black sweatshirt, black sneakers and blue jeans. No description for the other two.
