Rockville ‘Movies in the Parks’ Offer Family-Friendly Films

The big screens will return to neighborhood parks in the City of Rockville in August, according to a news release.

Residents are invited to bring blankets, chairs and food for an evening of family-friendly movies.

Movies are free of charge and begin at dusk; approximately 8 p.m.

The 2018 schedule is below:

  • Aug. 1 – “Toy Story” (Rated G) at Montrose Park, 451 Congressional Lane.
  • Aug. 8 – “Coco” (PG) at Maryvale Park, 812 First Street.
  • Aug. 15 –  “Little Giants” (PG) at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park, 1800 Piccard Drive.
  • Aug. 22 –  “Moana” (PG)  at Potomac Woods Park, 1380 Stratton Drive.
