Rockville Farmers Market Opening May 10

Every week the Rockville Farmers Market transforms itself as different fruits and vegetables become available throughout the growing season on Saturdays and Wednesdays in Rockville Town Center.

Opening day at the Saturday market will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on May 10 in the jury parking lot at the corner of East Jefferson Street (Route 28) and Monroe Street. This market continues from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. each Saturday through Nov. 22.

Stop by for farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, bedding plants, cut flowers, preserves, honey, herbs, baked goods and more. All items offered are picked fresh daily and available as supplies last. Shoppers are encouraged to go green and bring their own recyclable bags to the market.

Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards are accepted at the Saturday market. The city of Rockville thanks the organizations that support the EBT program. If you are interested in contributing to the program please email SpecialEvents@rockvillemd.gov.

Dawson’s Market sponsors a market on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. open June 4 through Sept. 24. The market is located in Dawson’s parking lot at 225 North Washington St.
