Rockville Crime Summary for Week Ending Nov. 19
The Rockville City Police crime summary for the week ending Nov. 19:
Arrests
On Nov. 11, a 40-year-old man was arrested for first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, after an incident that occurred in the 1900 block of Lancashire Drive.
On Nov. 13, a request was submitted to the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigative Division for a 15-year-old girl to be charged with second-degree assault and disrupting school operations, after an incident that occurred in the 200 block of Richard Montgomery Drive.
On Nov. 13, a request was submitted to the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigative Division for two girls, ages 13 and 14, to be charged with second-degree assault, after an incident that occurred in the 600 block of Great Falls Road.
On Nov. 14 at 8 p.m., a 49-year-old man was arrested for two counts of possession of CDS-amphetamines, after an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Lincoln Street.
On Nov. 17, a request was submitted to the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigative Division for a 16-year-old boy, to be charged with public intoxication, public intoxicated endangerment, disorderly conduct and possession of a dangerous weapon on school property (fireworks), after an incident that occurred in the 2100 block of Baltimore Road.
On Nov. 17 at 6:30 a.m., a 56-year-old woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant for failing to appear on an earlier trespassing incident that occurred on Jan. 26 in the 100 block of Gibbs Street.
On Nov. 17 at 9:45 p.m., a 37-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and failure to identify oneself to a police officer, following an incident that occurred in the 700 block of Lenmore Avenue.
On Nov. 19, at 12:30 p.m., a 29-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault, after an incident that occurred in the 5800 block of Ridgway Avenue.
Incidents
100 block of Halpine Road, the complainant reported that someone removed U.S. and Colombian currency and an identification card from a vehicle between Nov. 14-10 p.m. and Nov. 15-6:30 a.m.
14900 block of Shady Grove Road, the complainant reported that someone entered the business on Nov. 16 between 1 p.m. and 1:05 p.m. The suspect walked over to a display and removed two cellphones, then left the business without paying for the items. The suspect is described as: 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build, medium skin tone, last seen wearing all black clothing.
400 block of College Parkway, the complainant reported that someone removed a vehicle between Nov. 16-9 a.m. and Nov. 17-9 a.m.
200 block of Rockville Pike, the complainant reported that he was approached by three men on Nov. 17 between 11:45 a.m. and 12 p.m. One of the men demanded the complainant’s property. After the men obtained the complainant’s backpack, wallet and cash, they fled. The men are described as (1) 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes, medium skin tone, last seen wearing neon green jacket; (2) and (3) last seen wearing black jackets.
1800 block of Rockville Pike, the complainant reported that someone removed an unattended cell phone on Nov. 17 between 11:10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
1800 block of Piccard Drive, the complainant reported that someone removed a purse containing a wallet and credit cards from a vehicle on Nov. 18 between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Unit block of Martins Lane, the complainant reported that someone removed a makeup bag and a wallet containing cash, a driver’s license and credit cards from two unlocked vehicles between Nov. 18-6 p.m. and Nov. 19-10:30 a.m.
1600 block of Rockville Pike, a man gained entry by breaking out a front glass door to a business on Nov. 19 between 5:14 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. Once inside, the man removed three laptops and cash. He was wearing a dark blue scarf, black gloves, blue winter jacket with a logo on the sleeve.
1600 block of Rockville Pike, someone tried to gain entry by trying to break a front glass door to a business on Nov. 19 between 5:15 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. No entry was made into the business. Nothing was stolen.
400 block of McLane Court, the complainant reported that someone removed spare change, a wallet and a Bluetooth speaker from an unlocked vehicle on Nov. 19 between 1 a.m. and 12 p.m.
