Arrests
On Dec. 27, a 28-year-old man was arrested for robbery, second-degree assault, and theft after an earlier incident that occurred on Dec. 23 in the 100 block of East Montgomery Avenue.
On Jan. 3 at 8:47 a.m., a 40-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree burglary and malicious destruction of property after an incident that occurred in the 2000 block of Veirs Mill Road.
On Jan. 6 at 12:45 a.m., a 22-year-old man was arrested for trespassing after an incident that occurred in the 15900 block of Frederick Road.
On Jan. 7 at 6:11 p.m., a 46-year-old woman was arrested for trespassing after an incident that occurred in the 700 block of Rockville Pike.
On Jan. 2 at 3:10 p.m., a 35-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault after an incident that occurred in the 200 block of Ridgemont Avenue.
On Jan. 6 at 5:59 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree assault and resisting/interfering with arrest after an incident that occurred in the 700 block of Fallsgrove Drive.
On Jan. 7 at 5 p.m., a 37-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were arrested for theft after an incident in the 1800 block of Rockville Pike. In addition, the woman was also charged with possession of CDS-paraphernalia and making false statements to a police officer.
On Jan. 8 at 12:58 p.m., a 53-year-old man was arrested for violating an ex-parte/protection order, obstructing and hindering a police investigation, trespassing, and making false statements to a police officer after an incident that occurred in the 500 block of Bickford Avenue.
On Jan. 10 at 2:40 a.m., a 46-year-old woman was arrested for trespassing after an incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Rockville Pike.
On Jan. 10 at 3 a.m., a 28-year-ld man was arrested for second-degree assault and failure to comply with a peace order after an incident that occurred in the 300 block of Howard Avenue.
On Jan. 12 at 12:17 a.m., a 42-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested for second-degree assault after an incident that occurred in the 200 block of Park Road.
On Jan. 13 at 12:01 p.m., a 41-year-old man was arrested for failing to identify oneself to a police officer, obstructing and hindering a police investigation, possession of CDS-cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute CDS-cocaine after an incident that occurred in the 900 block of King Farm Boulevard.
Incidents
300 block of Hungerford Drive, the complainant reported that someone removed a piece of scuba equipment from a building between 7 a.m. Oct. 1 and 7 a.m. Jan. 1.
1000 block of Rockville Pike, someone somehow gained entry into an apartment between 2:54 p.m. Dec. 1 and 6 p.m. Dec. 27. Once inside the person took cash.
Unit block of Maryland Avenue, the complainant reported that someone removed HVAC parts from a roof top unit between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 31 and 4:34 p.m. Jan. 6.
Unit block of Taft Court, the complainant reported that someone removed a wallet from an unattended purse at a group facility on Jan. 7 between 12:01 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Police are looking for three women for entering a store in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike, and began placing several cosmetics and skin care items into bags and left the store without paying for the items. The incident occurred at 7:13 p.m. Jan. 7. They then entered a vehicle and fled. All three women were in their mid 20’s. One was 5 feet 8 inches, 160 pounds, medium build, long black hair, and last seen wearing black shoes, white coat, blue sweat pants and baby blue sweatshirt. The other woman was 5 feet 9 inches, 150 pounds, thin build, long black hair, and last seen wearing black shoes, black jacket, black pants, and tan security uniform style shirt. The third woman was 5 feet 8 inches, 350 pounds, large build, short black hair, and last seen wearing white shoes, blue jeans, white shirt and black jacket.
Unit block of Burgundy Court, the complainant reported that someone removed a wallet and a bag containing clothing and a watch, from an unlocked vehicle between 1:20 a.m. Jan. 8 and 1:32 a.m. Jan. 8. A review of video surveillance footage shows the person as a man, 6 feet, 250 pounds, large/heavy build, light skin tone, last seen wearing a black leather jacket.
1600 block of Crawford Drive, someone gained entry by cutting off a lock to a shed on between 9 a.m. Jan. 8 and 9 a.m. Jan. 9. Once inside the person removed a motorcycle.
800 block of Elmcroft Boulevard, the complainant reported that someone removed a vehicle from a parking garage between 7:15 p.m. Jan. 9 and 6:15 a.m. Jan. 10.
300 block of Bradley Avenue, someone somehow entered a home between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 11. Once inside the person removed a safe, cash, a checkbook and personal documents.
700 block of Ivy League Lane, the complainant reported that someone removed a wallet containing cash, credit cards and ID cards from a vehicle between 9:45 a.m. Jan. 12 and 4 p.m. Jan. 13.
