Riderwood Residents to Host Art of Ceramics Exhibition Nov. 10
Talented residents of Riderwood will display their work at the Art of Ceramics Exhibition on November 10.
Twenty residents of Riderwood, the Erickson Living retirement community, will display their original artistry at the 3rd Annual Art of Ceramics Exhibition.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 10 from noon to 5 p.m. in the Village Square Clubhouse Crafts Studio located at 110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring. The artists will be available to share the inspiration and stories behind their pieces.
The residents are members of Riderwood’s Art of Ceramics class. They are under the tutelage of Won Yin, a resident of Riderwood and experienced ceramics teacher. She studied with Richard Lafean, a master potter, teacher and former curator of Corcoran Gallery.
