Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Angela Alsobrooks announced today (July 11) that 24-year old Rickley Senning has been indicted for allegedly kidnapping a Montgomery County Judge on May 19.

In addition to the kidnapping charge, Senning was indicted for false imprisonment, three counts of second degree assault, reckless endangerment, theft, auto theft, driving under the influence and driving while impaired.

According to a statement from prosecutors, Senning allegedly assaulted Judge Audrey Creighton in her home and then kidnapped her, using her vehicle.

Prosecutors said Creighton was able to exit the vehicle in a grocery store parking lot.

Senning left the scene, prosecutors said, but crashed the vehicle a short distance away. The prosecutor’s statement said Senning allegedly fled to Florida after the alleged kidnapping and was returned to Maryland last month to face charges.

He remains jailed on a $500,000 bond.

Due to the fact that the victim in the case is a Montgomery County judge, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office has recused the office from the case and asked the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office to handle all matters related to it. Prince George’s County ASA Christine Murphy has been assigned to this case.
