Residents React to “State of the County” (Video)

In his “state of the county” address delivered on Feb. 20 at the Silver Spring Civic Building, Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett discussed the economic storm the county has weathered and he looked ahead announcing three new initiatives:

  • “Open for Business” will streamline the process for construction projects.
  • “English Language On Demand” will shorten and even eliminate the long waiting list for individuals seeking to learn the English language.
  • “Partnership for Educational Achievement” will expand educational opportunities for all students with a focus on under-performing students.
