Residents Invited to Discuss County’s Master Bicycle Plan on June 22
The Montgomery County Planning Department and the Montgomery County Department of Parks is inviting residents to a public joint meeting on June 22 to discuss the Planning Department’s preliminary bikeway recommendations for the County’s Bicycle Master Plan, according to a news release.
The goal of the Bicycle Master Plan, according to the Planning Department’s website, is for residents across all areas of the County, to have access to a comfortable and safe bicycle network.
Participants will have the opportunity to make suggestions and comments as well as learn about the new Upper Paint Branch Limited Area Trail Plan in Paint Branch from the Department of Parks.
The forum will take place at the Marilyn J. Praisner Library, 14910 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville and begins 4:oo p.m. The question-and-answer session begins at 7:15 p.m.
