The Montgomery County Council will hold a town hall meeting for the Silver Spring area on Mar. 15, according to a news release.
The meeting will be held at the Long Branch Community Center located at 8700 Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring and begins at 8:00 p.m.
Residents are invited to ask questions on any issue of concern. The Council is expecting to answer questions on school, transportation, public safety, immigration and lesson learned from the 2016 fatal apartment fire in Long Branch.
“We are constantly seeking new and better ways to find out what most concerns County residents,” Council President Berliner said in a statement.
