Residents Invited to Attend the Pedestrian and Bicycle Infrastructure Meeting for Bethesda Downtown Sector Plan
The Montgomery County Planning Department will hold a public meeting to review pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure recommendations in the Bethesda Downtown Sector Plan, according to a news release.
This community forum entitled, “Walking, Biking and the New Bethesda Sector Plan,” is for county residents interested in the Planning Board’s recommendations for making downtown Bethesda more accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.
Montgomery County Councilmember Hans Riemer and the Planning Department are co-sponsoring the event.
“We want got get out in the community and make sure that everyone is aware of the recommendations that we had made in the planning board draft that was transmitted to the council and to get their feedback,” said Leslye Howerton, project manager, Bethesda Downtown Sector Plan.
The meeting will be held on Jan. 11 from 7-8:30 p.m. in Room D of the Bethesda Chevy-Chase Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane in Bethesda.
