Residents Invited to Attend Meeting Geared Towards Keeping Bicyclists and Pedestrians Safe on Roads

The Pedestrian Bicycle and Traffic Safety Advisory Committee (PBTSAC) is inviting residents to attend a special meeting to discuss Vision Zero in Montgomery County.

Vision Zero is an initiative being adopted across the Country to implement a plan to prevent traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries among vehicle occupants, bicyclists and pedestrians, according to a news release.

The ultimate goal is to reduce traffic-related deaths and serious injuries to zero.

The meeting is scheduled for Mar. 2 from 7  – 9 p.m. in the 1st floor Lobby Auditorium of the Executive Office Building.
