Residents are invited to join Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett, County Councilmember Marc Elrich and Takoma Park Mayor Kate Stewart for an event entitled, “Cuba Conversation,” this month.

That conversation will take place on Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Takoma Park Community Center starting at 4:30 p.m.

Miguel Fraga, the First Secretary for the Cuban Embassy, is also scheduled to be in attendance to share his thoughts on where the relationship between Cuba and the U.S. is headed.

Organizers say this event will be an interactive conversation with plenty of opportunities for audience members to ask questions.
