Pedestrian Hit in Gaithersburg
UPDATED, Sept 25, 1:30 p.m. – The intersection of Flower Hill Way and Mountain Laurel Lane has been reopened.
UPDATED Sept. 26, 12:37 p.m. – A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries today after being struck by a vehicle at Mountain Laurel Lane and Flower Hill Way in the Gaithersburg area of Montgomery County.
According to police, the driver involved in the collision stayed on the scene.
Police said they closed several roads in the area during the accident investigation. No other information has been released to date.
UPDATED, Sept. 26, 10:20 a.m. – Montgomery County Police are reporting an adult male has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle at Mountain Laurel Lane and Flower Hill Way.

Montgomery County police and fire rescue crews are on the scene of a pedestrian struck at Woodfield Road near Flower Hill Way in Gaithersburg.
Police are reporting that the intersection of Flower Hill Way and Mountain Laurel Lane is closed while the accident investigation is underway. Motorist are urged to avoid the area.
