Report: Montgomery College Ranks Top 10 in Hosting International Students
Data from a new report shows Montgomery College is a leading institution for hosting international students in the United States.
According to the 2017 Open Doors Report, Montgomery College ranks number 7 for two-year institutions with a total of 1,933 international students.
“What this means is that we’re reinforcing what the college is all about,” Montgomery College spokesperson, Marcus Rosano, said. “We’re an openly accepting college. Montgomery College is a place for everybody no matter if you’re from Rockville or Romania.”

Congrats to MC because simply being an international student away from home is difficult, compounded by our complex culture and language problems. Welcoming and assimilation assistance must come from numerous sources to aid these young people embarking on life’s journey. Most struggle in their efforts and need guidance from schools’ international departments, immigration protection, host families, concerned neighbors and fellow students, and even informative books to extend a cultural helping hand so we all have a win-win situation.
