REI Opens New Store in Pike & Rose (VIDEO)
REI Co-op opened its new 38,000-square-foot Pike & Rose location last week.
The store provides bicycles, camping gear, kayaks, outdoor apparel and other ways to enjoy the outdoors. It also has a community center and a place for customers to trace maps onto wax paper.
REI had a location farther north on Rockville Pike.
“We felt that with this neighborhood it was a good fit,” manager Heidi Poulson said.
