Register to Vote (PHOTO)
The Montgomery County Council on Sept. 9 joined with representatives of the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County and the County Board of Elections to urge eligible citizens to register to vote in November’s elections.
Sept. 23 is designated as National Voter Registration Day, with a theme this year of “Celebrating Our Democracy.”
On Sept. 23, there will be registration opportunities established throughout the County. Council President Craig Rice (center) presented a proclamation on behalf of the Council to recognize the voter registration efforts.
