Red Cross Event

Abbey  Road on the River will contribute a percentage of funds to the American Red Cross on August 31 and September 1, designated as Red Cross Days. Red Cross will receive a percentage of walk up ticket sales.  A special reduced ticket price will be available August 15 – 20. Supporters can purchase tickets online during that time period at http://tinyurl.com/abbeyroadontheriver and enter the code redcross for a discounted ticket.

The event takes place at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center at the National Harbor, MD. This indoor/outdoor concert will feature live concerts each day. The renowned rock and roll band Jefferson Starship is playing on the 31^st.

The American Red Cross will sell preparedness items at the Festival and provide information about precautions to take before, during and after an emergency. A Gretsch guitar has been donated to the Red Cross and will be auctioned, with 100 percent of contributions going to Red Cross disaster relief programs.

Abbey  Road on the River (AROTR) is a music festival honoring the music and legend of The Beatles. It takes place in Louisville, Kentucky on Memorial Day weekend and in Washington DC on Labor Day weekend at National Harbor, MD. Abbey Road on the River is the largest Beatles festival in the United States.
