Recreation and Parks Improved Registration System
Montgomery County Recreation and Montgomery Parks have a new registration system. Residents can register for fall programs in a new system called ActiveMontgomery starting Aug. 17th.
The system replaces RecWeb and ParkPASS, and also allows customers to check facility availability, reserve spaces, and register for memberships.
“ActiveMONTGOMERY provides a broad range of registration options which will provide customers with a more comprehensive user-friendly registration experience. Registration is often the gateway into our programs and services, and ActiveMONTGOMERY will offer our customers greater ease and more options,” Recreation Department Director Gabriel Albornoz said in a news release.
Users must set up an account as new customers. County officials said ActiveMONTGOMERY is “fast, secure, easy use,” and is available 24/7.
“People expect technology to make their lives easier, from shopping to reading to listening to music to accessing directions. ActiveMONTGOMERY brings this same experience to our park patrons giving them a fast, easy way to sign up for programs, classes and to reserve facilities,” Montgomery Parks Director Michael Riley said on a news release.
Montgomery County Recreation and Montgomery Parks are part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
