#ReConnectMoCo Contest: Share Photo of Reusable Bag, Win Free Prizes
Connect Montgomery — which consists of Montgomery County’s PEG channels including MyMCMedia — has launched a social media contest that offers Montgomery County residents a chance to go outside and explore their community.
The campaign is called “ReConnect Montgomery” and from now through Oct. 15, ReConnect Montgomery will announce several easy contests that give residents a chance to win Connect Montgomery swag like hats, t-shirts, and tote bags. On Oct. 15, some lucky residents have the chance to win grandprizes such as an Apple Watch, a Sonos Speaker, a De’Longhi Espresso Machine, AirPods, a Parks Card, or an iPad.

What to Know About the Plastic Bag Free Day Challenge
Connect Montgomery’s International Plastic Bag Free Challenge is underway now until July 10 at 11:59 p.m. International Plastic Bag Free Day occurred on July 3 to raise awareness of the environmental harm wrought by plastic bags. This challenge is your chance to show off your favorite reusable bag on social media to raise awareness for the environmental harm wrought by plastic.
