Raskin to Join Office of Consumer Protection to Discuss Identify Theft Prevention

U.S. Congressman Jamie Raskin is expected to join Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh, and the Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection to discuss identify theft prevention during an inaugural consumer protection forum.

ConsumerFest will focus on internet safety, online financial protection, and will feature a resource fair where attendees will the opportunity to explore additional information from county, state and federal resources, according to a news release.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, July 24 at the Silver Spring Civic Building, located at 1 Veterans Place in Silver Spring. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the Resource Fair and the program starts at 7 p.m.
