Rally to Prevent Gun Violence

Advocates from around Maryland will rally in Annapolis on March 1 at 10:30 a.m. to prevent gun violence.

The rally will take place just before the first hearings begin in Annapolis.

Governor Martin O’Malley and Lt. Governor Anthony Brown are scheduled to join a host of elected officials from across Maryland and hundreds of advocates at the rally on Lawyers Mall.

The rally, hosted by Marylanders to Prevent Gun Violence, is in support of O’Malley’s comprehensive, proposal to address gun safety and violence prevention in Maryland.
