Quince Orchard Ready for Clash with Northwest, Chance at Perfect Season

If you’re a football fan and you live in Montgomery County, there’s only one place to be Friday night — the Cougar Dome in Gaithersburg — where Quince Orchard (12-0) hosts Northwest (11-1) at 7 p.m. for the right to play in the state 4A championship game. The state semi-final game promises to be the event of the year for sports fans with a raucous, standing-room-only crowd expected.

The Cougars of QO do not have a blemish on their record so far this season and would love nothing more than to beat their county rival Jaguars Friday for a chance at a state title and a perfect 14-0 season.
