Puppy Stolen From Just Puppies in Rockville (Video)
The Rockville City Police Department is investigating the report of a puppy theft at the Just Puppies pet store in the Twinbrook Shopping Center. According to Lt. Eric Over it happened at 5:15 p.m. on April 12. The police released the store’s security camera footage on April 25. The video shows a suspect entering the store, playing with the missing puppy, putting the puppy in her purse and leaving. Lt. Over of reported they have received some tips and are actively following up.
An earlier theft took place at Just Puppies in January, 2012. Lt. Over confirmed that the two incidents are not related. The puppy was recovered from the theft last year.
