Public Testing of Electronic Vote Tabulation System

Montgomery County Board of Elections Vote 2012

Mark your calendars for March 21 to test the county’s voting system before early voting begins.

The Montgomery County Board of Elections will conduct a public testing of the voting system on Wednesday, March 21, at 10 a.m. The testing will take place at the Elections Office, 18753 N. Frederick Avenue, Suite 107, Gaithersburg.

Anyone planning to attend the testing is asked to call 240-777-8562.

The public testing is scheduled before early voting officially begins March 24 – 29. Montgomery County will open five Early Voting Centers (from March 24 – 29), from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Sunday hours noon –6 p.m.)  Voters are able to vote on the same voting equipment used on Election Day (April 3), but at a time that is more convenient.
