Public Service Commission (PSC) Schedules Rockville Hearing on Exelon, Pepco Merger

The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced it will hold a Rockville hearing on Jan. 13 to receive public comments on the proposed merger of Exelon and Pepco Holdings, Inc.

The merger would combine Exelon’s three top-performing utilities – BGE, PECO and ComEd – with Pepco Holdings electric and gas utilities – Pepco, Delmarva Power and ACE.

The hearing in Rockville will take place in the auditorium of the Council Office Building, 100 Maryland Avenue, beginning at 6 p.m. and it will be broadcast live on County Cable Montgomery.

Original, signed written comments may also be filed with the PSC by Tuesday, February 17, 2015, addressed to David J.
