PSC Plans to Hold Public Hearings
The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) plans to hold two public evening hearings, one in College Park and the other in Rockville, to discuss Pepco’s recent request for a rate increase.
Dates for these upcoming meetings have not been announced yet.
The PSC also has granted petitions to intervene in this case by Montgomery County, Somerset, the Mayor and Council of Rockville, City of Gaithersburg, GSA, MEA, AARP, POWERUPMONTCO and AOBA at a pre-hearing conference.
A timeline has also been established for the case as follows:
Pepco shall file financials and supplemental direct testimony by Feb. 8.
Parties, other than Pepco, shall file direct testimony by March 8.
All parties shaall file rebuttal/reply testimony by March 25.
Parties other than Pepco shall file surrebuttal testimony by April 10.
Initial briefs shall be filed by May 17.
Reply briefs shall by filed by May 29.
The evidentiary hearings are scheduled as follows:
April 15, 10 a.m.
April 16, 10 a.m.
April 17, 1 p.m.
April 18, 10 a.m.
April 19, 10 a.m.
April 22, 10 a.m.
April 23, 10 a.m.
April 24, 1 p.m.
April 26, 10 a.m.
April 29, 10 a.m.
