With just one hour before the polls close candidates are making one last push to capture a few final tallies.

Montgomery County Council district 3 candidate Tom Moore thanked his supporters on Twitter:

Candidates are canvassing Montgomery County and tweeting where they are as voters continue to trickle into the polls.

Beth Daly, candidate for an at-large seat on the Montgomery County Council is campaigning in Takoma Park after being in Somerset and Leisure World earlier today, according to her Tweet. Nancy Floreen, at-large County Council incumbent, was greeting voters at Garrett Park Elementary School this afternoon, according to her Twitter account.

District five County Council candidate Evan Glass met up with Heather Mizeur, candidate for governor and Takoma Park Mayor Bruce Williams to encourage voters to cast ballots in Takoma Park.

The Primary Election Day polls will close at 8 p.m. in Montgomery County.

There was very little activity at Diamond Elementary School and Lakelands Park Middle School in Gaithersburg shortly after 7 a.m. today.

Ryan Spiegel, candidate for Montgomery County Council’s District 3, arrives at Lakelands Park Middle School to cast his vote.

Gaithersburg City Councilmember Ryan Spiegel, a democratic candidate for District 3 County Council, cast his ballot at Lakelands Park Middle School at about 7:15 a.m. He brought his family with him to vote as well. Spiegel is planning to watch Election Day results tonight at Union Jacks at the Washingtonian Rio. But first he said he plans to spend much of the day campaigning in the Leisure World community of Silver Spring.

There have been reports of technical issues at several polling places in Bethesda and Chevy Chase.

Doug Gansler, a democratic candidate for Governor, is asking for reports of any voting problems on his Twitter Account.
