Preview of Thursday’s Student Walkout Against Gun Violence

On March 14, students from around the DMV plan to walk out of school and march from the White House to the walls of the Capitol.

Student organizer for Montgomery County Students for Change, Dani Miller says this walkout is an effort to protest of the federal government’s lack of action on the deadly issue of gun violence.

Miller, who is a Senior at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, says several MCPS students plan to participate in the peaceful march.
