Presidential Scholars (PHOTOS)

Emily Yang, a Richard Montgomery High School student who recently was named one of only 141 “Presidential Scholars” in the nation, talks about her experiences on June 9th as she was honored by the Montgomery County Council.

Also at the ceremonies were, left to right: David Lopilator, an English teacher at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School representing Presidential Scholar Patrick Cha, who could not be present; Susan Leckie, an English teacher at Richard Montgomery High School; and Councilmember Craig Rice, who presented proclamations on behalf of the Council.
