Maryland Flag Will Be Lowered to Half Staff After President’s Order
President Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. flag to be flown at half staff from now to sunset on Nov. 9 to pay respect to the victims of the Sutherland Springs, Texas shooting.
As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag will be lowered to half staff as well because no flag may fly higher than the United States flag.
