President Trump Orders U.S. Flag to Half Staff on Oct. 8th in Honor of Fallen Firefighters
President Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. flag to be flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Oct. 8 in honor of the National Firefighters Memorial Service.
As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag will be lowered to half staff as well because no flag may fly higher than the United States flag.
President Trump has proclaimed Oct. 8 – 14 as Fire Prevention Week.
