President Trump Orders U.S. Flag to Half Staff on Oct. 27 to Honor Pittsburgh Victims
President Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. flag to be flown at half staff from Saturday, Oct. 27 to sunset on Oct. 31 in solemn respect for the victims of violence perpetrated at The Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag will be lowered to half staff as well because no flag may fly higher than the United States flag.
