Prescription Drug Take-Back Day (Video)

Montgomery County Police will host six drop-off locations for Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Oct. 26. Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. these locations will accept expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs and as well over the counter medications. The service is free, anonymous, and “no questions asked.”

GotDrugs1Illicit drugs and syringes cannot be accepted as a part of this take-back program.

The Montgomery County Police drop-off locations are;

  • 1st District Station: 100 Edison Park Drive, Gaithersburg
  • 2nd District Friendship Heights Community Center, 4433 S. Park Ave, Chevy Chase
  • 3rd District Station: 801 Sligo Avenue, Silver Spring
  • 4th District Station: 2300 Randolph Road, Wheaton
  • 5th District Station: 20000 Aircraft Drive, Germantown
  • 6th District Station: 45 West Watkins Mill Road, Gaithersburg

  • Gaithersburg City Police: 14 Fulks Corner Ave., Gaithersburg
  • Maryland State Police: 7915 Montrose Rd., Rockville
  • Rockville City Police / Montgomery County Sheriff: #2b W. Montgomery Ave., Rockville
  • Takoma Park Police: 7500 Maple Ave., Takoma Park
