Powerlifting More Than Weights (Photo)

Linda Jo Belsito of Clarksburg, a registered nurse, was honored by the Montgomery County Council on Nov. 19 as she added to her long list of accomplishments as a world champion Masters powerlifter by winning the 2013 Grand Slam in Olympic Masters weightlifting, capturing all four major world-wide competitions in her weight class.

She shared her recognition at the Rockville ceremonies with some of the Special Olympians she helps train in powerlifting.
