Power Outages in Bethesda and Rockville

Pepco signPepco crews are working to enhance the power grid in two areas of Montgomery County today and dozens of customers in Rockville and Bethesda are without power while the work is underway.

Courtney Nogas, Pepco’s regional communications director, said about 230 customers are impacted by the reliability work in Bethesda and 15 customers are affected in Rockville. She said a wire was being replaced in Rockville. Both outages were planned, according to Nogas.

Police officers were spotted directing traffic at the intersection of Crabbs Branch Way and East Gude Drive at noon time today because of the dark signal there.
